Breakfast options – Serving cooked breakfast from 8am to 8.30am. Continental breakfast available from 7.30am to 9am
Espresso Coffee as well as extensive tea selection. Peppermint, Chamomile, Rosehip, English Breakfast, Licorice Root, Redbush.
Homemade muesli made from oats, nuts, dried fruit and coconut toasted with tahini. Gluten Free option available on request (Vegan)
Yoghurt and seasonal fruit.
Mountaineers porridge – a filling mix of rolled oats, nuts, coconut and dried fruit served with yoghurt, or soy milk (Vegan)
Bacon and eggs – Scrambled free-range eggs, with free-farm bacon. Vegetarian option available.
Freshly baked bread with butter and our homemade jams.
Geoff’s (Saturday morning only) Pancake special – beautifully light and delicious. Served with organic yoghurt and honey
If you book for two nights or more, we will provide a packed lunch without charge so that you can explore Arthur’s Pass National Park. We keep it pretty simple with our homemade bread and tomato relish, with cheese, fruit and of course some chocolate to help get you up that mountain!
Evening meal and dessert
We can supply evening meals when given 1 days notice, $40 main meal. We now offer a $10 dessert nibbly option with things like Whittaker’s Chocolate and whatever yummy things that take our fancy. We always have gluten free and vegan options.
Special dietary requirements will need to be advised at least 2 days before arrival.

Italian Meatballs homemade tomato sauce with herbed meatballs, served with mashed potato or penne pasta
Roast Chicken We only use free range or organic chicken. Served with seasonal vege or salad.
Beef casserole seared beef slow cooked with onions, stock and herbs. Served with seasonal vegetables.
Lentil Curry with basmati or brown rice, check with us as we update ingredients all the time.
