Breakfast options – Serving cooked breakfast from 7.30am to 8.30am
Homemade muesli made from oats, nuts, dried fruit and coconut toasted with honey and tahini. Served with Clearwater yoghurt
Mountaineers porridge – a filling mix of rolled oats, nuts, coconut and dried fruit served with yoghurt, or soy milk (vegan friendly)
Pancakes – beautifully light and delicious. Served with organic yoghurt and honey
Bacon and eggs – poached, scrambled or fried free-range eggs with free-farm bacon. Vegetarian option available.
Freshly baked bread with butter and our homemade jams.
If you book for two nights or more, we will provide a packed lunch without charge so that you can explore Arthur’s Pass National Park. We keep it pretty simple with our homemade bread and tomato relish, with cheese, fruit and of course some chocolate to help get you up that mountain!
We can supply evening meals when given 1 days notice, $35 main $15 dessert. Special dietary requirements will need to be advised at least 2 days before arrival.

Our menu changes depending on seasonal produce, below are examples of what we often cook. We’ll let you know what we have available.
Italian Meatballs – Homemade tomato sauce with herbed meatballs, served with mashed potato.
Roast Chicken, vegetables and gravy. We only use free range or organic chicken.
Beef casserole, seared beef slow cooked with onions, stock and herbs. Served with seasonal vegetables.
Vegetarian lentil stew with basmati rice, check with us as we update ingredients all the time.
Home made pizza with freshly made pizza dough, homemade tomato sauce and seasonally available toppings
Dessert $15 per person minimum order for 2 people (unless travelling as a single)
Crumble with seasonal fruit – Whole rolled oats, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon or ginger. Served with custard.
Self saucing chocolate pudding – rich warm chocolate pudding served with cream.
Sticky date pudding – steamed on our woodburner and served with caramel sauce and cream.
