Please note: We do not have ensuite bathrooms, guests share one bathroom. Your hosts, Renee and Geoff have a private bathroom.


Breakfast options

Mountaineers porridge – a filling mix of rolled oats, nuts, coconut and dried fruit served with yoghurt, or soy milk (vegan friendly)

Buttermilk pancakes – beautifully light and delicious. Served with organic yoghurt and honey

Bacon and eggs – poached, scrambled or fried free-range eggs with free-farm bacon. Vegetarian option available.

Freshly baked bread with butter and our homemade jams.


If you book for two nights or more, we will provide a packed lunch without charge so that you can explore Arthur’s Pass National Park.

Evening meals

We can supply evening meals when given 1 days notice, $35 main $10 dessert.   Special dietary requirements will need to be advised at least 2 days before arrival.

Main meals

Roast Chicken, vegetables and gravy. We only use free range or organic chicken.

Beef casserole, seared beef slow cooked with onions, stock and herbs. Served with seasonal vegetables.

Vegetarian lentil stew with basmati rice, check with us as we update ingredients all the time.


Crumble with seasonal fruit – Whole rolled oats, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon or ginger. Served with  custard.
